Seems the veterans are trying

By veterans I mean players like Emmitt, according to an article on the Arizona Republic website, Emmitt made a long and passionate speach to the team after the loss to the Seahawks. Blake is taking the blame but so did Plummer after a lot of loses. I just hope Emmitt's words have some kind of bearing on the mind set of these young players. The talent level is not as bad as these scores indicate. Sorry, but Blake, Emmitt, Hodgins, Davis, Shelton, Kendall, Fisher, Mckinnon, Thompson, Barrett, Bryant, Wilson ect... don't exactly suck... but the team's head has not been in the game. A depleted Packer WR core and a QB who has been known to be overconfident with his passing ability (yeah, Favre will force a lot of balls as often as he makes great passes) should give the Cards an ability to get some picks but they must stop the run and be able to run and yes STOP THE TURNOVERS.

stopping the run will be the biggest factor (next to turnover ratio). the pack ran all over detroit. I think we can score some points if we do not turn the ball over (stating the obvious here - but I think we can move the ball).

Even with poor WR, we haven't stopped anything resembling a high school passing attack, let alone Brett Favre. After the Turnovers, you better play better on the corner.

Emmitt helps a ton on blitz pickup and if the game was close he still has it.

I believe his signing is a plus overall and someone has to say something maybe they will listen to him. I don't know what he said but it should have gone something like this.
