The United States strikes again!

Malik Tillman scored a free kick in the 82nd minute of the USMNT's World Cup round of 32 match against Bosnia and Herzegovina on Wednesday, July 1. The goal not only was perfectly placed, but gave the team breathing room while it was playing with just 10 men following a red card for Folarin Balogun.

The United States is up 2-0 at Levi's Stadium in the Bay Area. See a highlight of the goal:

Balogun has been a firecracker for the U.S., scoring critical goals including the first goal of the match against Bosnia. He will now have to sit out the next match if this result holds and the U.S. advances.

The winner of the United States vs. Bosnia and Herzegovina round of 32 match will play Belgium in the round of 16.

The United States won Group D after storming out the gate with a 4-1 win over Paraguay and following that up with a 2-0 victory over Australia. They dropped their group finale 3-2 to Turkey with many of the starters resting on the bench.

USMNT star Christian Pulisic was injured after someone kicked him in the left calf during the opener against Paraguay. He sat out the Australia match but came off the bench to provide the team a boost in the finale. The Hershey, Pennsylvania, native was in the starting lineup for the round of 32 match.
