A potential game-changing call just happened in the USA vs. Bosnia and Herzegovina World Cup Round of 32 match.

USMNT's Folarin Balogun was given a red card after spiking a Bosnia's Tarik Muharemovic in the back of the ankle.

While the play didn't look intentional on Balogun's part, officials reviewed the play and determined a red card was necessary for his action.

This now means that the USA's leading goal scorer in this World Cup has been ejected from the game, the team will be down a man (10 players) for the rest of this match and Balogun will be suspended if the U.S. advances in the Round of 16 against Belgium on Monday night.
