We were rattling the **** out of mac jones,...then rallis fell back into the 4 man rush shell defense. That stupid kid needs to learn to stick with what's working until your opponent successfully counters.

If we do nothing but 4 man rush against Seattle we likely lose by 20+ points
If there was ever a QB who gets rattled, it’s Darnold.

Sitting here in foggy southern California by the beach, at the fire pit having my coffee and favorite cigar, pondering why I do this.

But coming Thursday night I'll be there full if hope...again!

Heading to San diego today and into the valley on Wednesday. Staying with friends in Chandler.

Oh hell go Cardinals.

I’m on vacay - and promised my wife I wouldn’t subject myself to the weekly torture that is watching cardinals football this week. I fully expect us to get demolished this Thursday - but hey, that’s usually when the cardinals play their best football.

Good luck cards- hope you pull your stuff together

If JG is smart he'll have a win one for the Gipper speech to use the James Conner injury to get these guys coming out of the locker room with fire in their eyes.

Thiey should have a must win desperation attitude because it is a must win game

Absolutely. It's easy to get roasted for a take like this but it's the truth, Thursday is a MUST WIN game. I wholeheartedly believe that. If they don't win they aren't making the playoffs.

On top of that, getting beat by Seattle twice in 3 weeks last season to effectively kill your playoff hopes should be plenty of motivation to win. They need to look like the more physically dominant team, they need to play with JC's attitude.

So hang on here Zay Jones is on the injury list with a concussion? Did it happen in practice or did he play in that game with a concussion? I mean that would sure explain him not making the catch to clinch the game if he had a concussion?

if he has an actual concussion no way in hell he plays Thur

Our secondary got worked on Sunday IMO, especially Max Melton. It really felt like Mac Jones could do whatever he wanted. The passes over the middle of the field were there whenever he wanted them.

Seems like the key to the game will be getting MHJ involved early, winning the turnover battle, and obviously if they can put pressure on Darnold that will bode well, but I’m not so sure about that last one since Rallis really only sends 4.
Melton gave up 57 of Mac's 282 yards. I don't think he was the biggest issue. I wonder if Rallis will have him playing tighter coverage instead of off the LOS, going forward.

Gannon said it happened on the final offensive play, so yeah - the one where he couldn't hold on to the would-be game clinching catch.

Ok I missed that thanks.

I didn't notice him hit his head but I guess he must have.

ugh looking more and more like PJJ's knee is a thing. They just promoted an OL from the practice squad not Carter and it sounds like they did it it because Beachum hurt HIS knee in the SF game and they may not have either guy Thur night.

Beachum actually played ok against SF of course in large part because Bosa got hurt.

Yeah probably no Will Johnson again. I’m guessing no Zay Jones either due to his concussion.

They desperately could use Walter Nolan & Will Hernandez in the trenches. Would be amazing if those guys start practicing after the Seattle game.

I just want to see MHJ get at minimum 3 deep shots on Thursday but preferably 4 or 5. As flawed as he is I do trust his ability to get up over the defender on those long passes.

I know it’s an *estimation*, but how does Will Johnson go from Limited all last week to DNP this week? I know groins are tricky, but damn.
Probably because its a Thursday game and they are letting him rest with like 1.5 practices this week.
