Need to see what Paris’ & Will’s status look like.

I have little faith of winning this game, but I also don’t expect Seattle to continue to look like a buzzsaw.

Anything can happen, though. Nobody expected the Browns to beat the Packers.

Didnt Paris practice all last week? I was surprised he was inactive (though maybe I just wasn't current with his situation). The cope in me is feeling that they thought 2 games in 5 games was too much so gave him further runway in prep for Seattle.

Edit: Gator beat me to the punch above.

I legit think we get curb-stomped. This team's lack of mental toughness is probably it's greatest achilles heel and has been for the entirety of Kyler's career, no matter who's GM/Coach.

So... I got 200 bucks in bonus bets riding on the Seahawks moneyline. Either we win and it's a legit GREAT W and restores my faith and hope in the season and I lose no money... or I make 200 bucks out of thin air and kinda get paid for what i fear will be three hours of putridity on the field. I'd rather take the first by a country mile, but in the event we don't, might as well make some moolah off what I expect to be a mess.

If this team has any heart and character, they’ll treat it like a playoff game and bounce back from that embarrassing loss and find a way to win, even if it’s by 1 point. Not that it can’t be done, but nothing points to this being the likely outcome on Thursday.

Winning has to be the only option and mindset in the locker room. They can win back the fan base if they do what good teams do…Bounce back from a loss and protect your home field.

You can get Seattle -9.5 at +348

i was fine with the money-line - with bonus bucks, it ain't my money I'm playing with. Perfect way to hedge those three hours!

I was going to say that if we lose, I want us to get humiliated, but I dont think a 58-0 score changes anything about this coaching staff.

Agree.
However, even with our at home issues with Seattle, I do expect a win.
Being the home team favors us on a short week.....as long as fans show up.
But like you I would have much more confidence if I knew PJJ and WH were in the lineup.
I am hoping The Petzing installs some delayed snaps in order to slow down Leonard Williams. Adams still ain't got no cookies since Williams took them away last season.
I am a big Sam Darnold fan compared to most on the board. But his path in the NFL has left gaps in his development...at last inspection he was still susceptible to being rattled with hits and knockdowns...and then his gunslinger mentality takes over and he starts making mistakes...we need to create that environment early and force the issue with Darnold.
Seattle will come in with a similar gameplan to ours and try to shorten the game with the run.

Normally I wouldn't say this but it's in our best interest to make this game a shootout IMO
Getting a lead and forcing the hags into their passing game has risks with our young banged up secondary but it will allow us to unleash the Dawgs on Darnold and get in his head...which should allow us a few takeaways.
A shootout also forces kyler and our offense to have a "get-right" game...and if we can pass for 275+ yards it will have benefits that last all season.
Would like to see both Boom-Boom McBride and Maserati Marv get 15 targets each in this matchup.

Our secondary got worked on Sunday IMO, especially Max Melton. It really felt like Mac Jones could do whatever he wanted. The passes over the middle of the field were there whenever he wanted them.

Seems like the key to the game will be getting MHJ involved early, winning the turnover battle, and obviously if they can put pressure on Darnold that will bode well, but I’m not so sure about that last one since Rallis really only sends 4.

We were rattling the **** out of mac jones,...then rallis fell back into the 4 man rush shell defense. That stupid kid needs to learn to stick with what's working until your opponent successfully counters.

If we do nothing but 4 man rush against Seattle we likely lose by 20+ points
