The Seattle Seahawksoffense will face a challenge versus the Minnesota Vikings defense in Week 13. Offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak will be tasked with outdoing defensive coordinator Brian Flores. Both coordinators are potential head coaching candidates for 2026.
We've identified three potential X-factors for the Seahawks on offense against the Vikings in Week 13.
Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III has begun separating himself in the backfield from Zach Charbonnet. Though still a timeshare, the former Michigan State standout is officially out-touching and out-producing Charbonnet, and he's averaged 4.2 yards or greater in three straight games. Walker is red-hot right now.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba has been the best wide receiver in the NFL this season. He was totally unstoppable versus the Tennessee Titans last weekend, a common theme this year, recording eight receptions for 167 yards and two touchdowns. Smith-Njigba could continue chasing Calvin Johnson's single-season receiving yards record with another standout showing against the Vikings.
Grey Zabel pitched a shutout despite playing through a painful injury against a stout Titans defensive line. The rookie blocker out of North Dakota State has been a godsend for Sam Darnold in protection. Zabel will face another challenge versus a well-coached and hard-nosed Vikings d-line.
