The Seattle Seahawks recently returned from the NFL Scouting Combine. General manager John Schneider and head coach Mike Macdonald gathered more information that will help dictate their 2026 NFL draft plans. As per usual, mock drafts are arriving in fast and furious fashion since the combine concluded.

The Draft Network's latest projection has the Seahawks taking cornerback Avieon Terrell at No. 32 overall. Cornerback has been a popular first-round pick for Seattle. Terrell is a competitive and spirited defender with inside-outside versatility.

"The Seahawks need fresh talent in their cornerback room, as only Devon Witherspoon and Nehemiah Pritchett are currently under contract for the 2026 season," Jaime Eisner wrote. "Avieon Terrell—the younger brother of Atlanta Falcons standout A.J. Terrell—is a physical, sticky man-coverage corner who could step in as an immediate starter for Seattle at a major area of need."

Eisner is correct about the cupboard beginning to look bare at cornerback. Riq Woolen and Josh Jobe are currently slated to hit free agency next week. It feels like a foregone conclusion that Woolen will sign elsewhere. Has Jobe priced himself outside Schneider's comfort zone? The Seahawks will need to strengthen and replace at cornerback this offseason, and Terrell would be a worthwhile 32nd pick.
