Seattle Seahawks rookie running back Jadarian Price will be given the keys to the offense in the ground game in 2026, making him a strong fantasy football option for next season.
The Seahawks lost Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker III to the Kansas City Chiefs in free agency and will be without the injured Zach Charbonnet to begin next season. Price will be thrusted into a starting role with Seattle in 2026 with full reign to put up numbers.
According to Sports Illustrated’s Michael Fabiano, Price is a fantasy football breakout candidate for next season.
“No rookie in the 2026 draft class saw his fantasy value rise more than Price based solely on landing spot,” Fabiano said. “The last pick of the first round, he’ll open camp and likely start the regular season as the top running back in Seattle.”
The Seahawks were a run-heavy offense last season. Seattle ranked No. 3 in the league in rushing attempts last season with 507, and Walker III and Charbonnet accounted for 405 of those. Price will be in line to earn as many carries as he is capable of handling next season.
ESPN Fantasy Football projects the Notre Dame product to rush for 915 yards and eight touchdowns, as well as 223 receiving yards and a REC TD, good for 195.99 fantasy points in PPR leagues.
Charbonnet’s return to the lineup next season will impact Price’s production. Nevertheless, Price will have the opportunity to cement himself as the top option in Seattle’s ground game in 2026 with a strong start to the year, even once Charbonnet recovers, making his chances to meet his projections strong.
