I mentioned the 1986 10-10 tie @ Philly as the worst game I've ever seen live. This one is a close 2nd even though I watched on TV.

The Good

The Defense
-Played their minds out tonight. Held Wilson and company to near nothing and the only decent drive they had all night game in overtime. Thankfully their 2nd decent drive ended in a Finkle-esque FG miss by the sure footed Hauschka.

David Johnson-Without him we're nothing. This kid is special.

The Bad

Stupid Penalties
-The delay of game on what would have been an extra point but the way this game was going he probably would have missed it.

This Entire Game-I've seen some bad games but this one, when you feel lucky to get a tie....

Michael Floyd-Just when it appeared he was coming out of his funk, he drops a sure 1st down deep in Seattle territory.

Bruce Arians-He left points on the field going for it on 4th and short. Now, I want to say that I was all for him going for it. No risk it, no biscuit after all. But he should never listen to me but his biggest mistake was after it appeared that DJ had scored in OT, instead of taking his time or even calling time out to give the booth time to see whether or not it's worthy of review(it was a potential scoring play so it should have been reviewed). Instead he rushed a running play which, of course, failed.

6 Points-I've seen teams with half the yards we got tonight score 20. 440 yards and only 6 points.

A Tie-Does us no good. Thankfully the NFC is pretty wide open but we need to string some wins together.

The Ugly

Special Teams
-Just pathetic. A blocked FG, blocked punt, missed chip shot FG. Just pathetic. How Jones keeps his job is beyond me.

The Officiating-I know I'm beating a dead horse here but some of the garbage the officials let Seattle get away with was pathetic. The blocked FG, their player kicked our long snapper in the back with the Umpire looking right at it, they throw the flag, then pick it up. We had players get his after the whistle while on the ground, no flags. Sherman, no wonder he's considered one of the best DB's, he's draped all over our receivers. Earl Thomas hits Fitz under the chin with his helmet, no call.

Cat-You just don't miss that kick. Amazing. He can make a 60 yard FG but not a 25 yard chip shot.

There you have it. This feels like a loss.

One of the most bizarre games i've ever been to.

I dont mind going for it on 4th & 1ft. The Cards had a good drive going, but everyone and their mom knew DJ would get the ball. That was a perfect opp for a qb sneak.

Yup. I was all in on 4th and 1. That was a point where you either can beat/match Seattle's toughness or die trying.

Only the Cardinals could figure out a way to do NEITHER!

Thought Amos Jones should have been gone after LAST season. But the players have to execute and they didn't. Seattle cares more about special teams that the Cardinals and it shows on the field. Keep neglecting 1/3 of the game and sooner or later you'll pay a price. The Cardinals did last night.

Arians did nothing wrong in that game, I thought he coached a damn good game... I only blame him for keeping Aimless Amos around to coach our special teams

Ditto - only bad in BA was the not taking time at the one yard line, like you mentioned.

Really, Palmer is playing just average this year, missing his long throws (almost entirely) - we are out two starting receivers and Floyd was been sucking. They fact that we tied this team and held them to 6 is a hell of an achievement. The loss is on the ST play and coaching - again.

Floyd stopped three drives via penalties and dropped balls. He is too big a liability to be on the field.

And I agree that Sherman seems to be able to play with a different rule book. Fitz took a helmet to the head as a defenseless receiver and there was no call.

Was that really on BA? I thought it was on Carson who rushed everyone to the line to run a play.

Then, by definition, Arians has done something wrong in EVERY game as Amos has remained his coach despite all evidence pointing to the fact he should've relieved of his duties long ago. Can't have it both ways Jet.

Come on, guys. Give me a break. I will take BASK, over any coach/gm that we have had the last half century. Not even close.
I would too. Doesn't make them infallible or the best combo in the league.

BA is our Russell Westbrook. He's the reason we're good yet probably also the reason we'll never get over the hump.

Was BA the reason we lost to Carolina the last two years in the playoffs?

The Cards are 0-2-1 in games decided by 7 points or less. We're playing almost two games below our expected wins. It's just been some bad luck. We're basically the NFC version of the San Diego Chargers. It's likely to come back around, just in time to miss the playoffs by a half game.

Execution - I blame the players. Preparation/concepts/game management - the coach should be held accountable. After the 1st leap, he should've prepped the players in case that comes up again.

My bad, I meant Arian's coaching on the field... not his coaching personnel but more about comments on Arian's own handling of the game as a head coach

Not to stir up trouble, but there were a number of times last night that as a Seahawks fan, I was really glad BA made some of the decisions he made. His play calling/clock management at the end of both halves, for example. His decision to go for it on 4th down rather than take the points, his decision to challenge the FG block, etc. I felt like many of his decisions cost the Cardinals the opportunity for points, or in some other way helped out the Seahawks.

I understand the angst of many here regarding Catanzaro, but if you give him the opportunity to try to kick a FG instead of going for it on 4th & short, and also at the end of the 1st half, he would have had to have had a catastrophically bad game to not give the Cards the victory. That's just the percentages.

The only thing which helped the Seahawks in that game was our putrid Special Teams play. Going for it on fourth down is what a team with a winning character does and with Johnson I do not blame him. I think both coaches did a hell of a job... and both kickers let down the real football players on the field lol

The QB does what the coach instructs him to do.

Question: Who was responsible for the delay of game on a frigging FG?
