SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — SD United scored 15 unanswered runs to cruise to victory over SD Players in the Fastpitch Northern National championship on Sunday afternoon.
The Players took a five-run lead in the top of the first inning but United came back ablaze, putting up five runs of their own to tie the game up. Audrinna Colboff earned the win for SD United, tossing six strikeouts and two walks across four innings with five runs on three hits.
United sits ranked fourth out of 34 teams in South Dakota 16U according to USA Softball of South Dakota following the win.
