The Indianapolis Colts and cornerback Kenny Moore have mutually agreed to seek a trade. So when might a deal get done?

ESPN's NFL insider Adam Schefter provided a potential timeline on Monday, while appearing on the Pat McAfee Show.

"To me, it wouldn't surprise, like Day 2, Day 3, we saw Kenny Moore dealt at that point in time to a team that likes him, didn't get a slot cornerback that it wanted," Schefter said. "You always see moves like that made around the draft."

Schefter added that Moore and the Colts are on the same page in trying to get a deal done. "People know that he's available, and it's only a matter of time before he's moved," said Schefter.

Although this news seemingly came out of nowhere last week, there are three fairly clear reasons as to why Moore and the Colts arrived at this point, including the team's affinity for second-year cornerback Justin Walley.

As far as where Moore could end up, our NFL Wire network recently highlighted four potential landing spots.

Although the Colts are well-equipped at cornerback, there is a potential ripple effect for Indianapolis in the draft that could come with trading him. There will be a salary cap impact as well for the Colts.

Moore spent nine seasons with the Colts. He is a one-time Pro Bowler, and for his career, Moore has allowed 10.0 yards per catch with 22 interceptions and 38 pass breakups, according to PFF.
