Over the course of the next few weeks, NFL teams will be setting up a wide variety of meetings to see which prospects from around the nation could be a fit for their franchise. Whether those be first-round talents or players who may be selected down the board, all of them will have a chance to make an impact in the right system. The New Orleans Saints have been setting up a ton of meetings early in the process, and multiple others were added to the group recently.

A name that stands out among the pack is Georgia tight end Oscar Delp, a four-year veteran who put up some really impressive stats in his time with the team. In the report noting the Saints' interest, it was stated that he has met with the team twice now, once having dinner prior to his Pro Day.

It wasn't the first time that New Orleans met with Delp, who could be selected as early as Day 2 of the 2026 NFL Draft.https://t.co/LpqQzMgGeD

In his last season with Georgia, Delp accrued 20 receptions for 261 yards and 1 touchdown, putting up 13.1 yards per reception on the year. Across all four seasons, he was a pretty notable Red Zone target, posting 9 touchdowns on 70 receptions, along with 854 yards.

He has great size at 6-foot-5 and 245 pounds, which makes him a potentially interesting addition to this New Orleans tight end room, already consisting of Juwan Johnson, Noah Fant, and Moliki Matavao. Kellen Moore has always been a notable tight-end-heavy offensive coordinator, and now, as a head coach, he will likely try to run more 12-personnel as he goes into year two, especially if the Saints get Delp.
