TRI-CITIES, Tenn. (WJHL) – Tuesday night high school basketball action delivered rivalry battles and dominating performances across the region.

In Johnson City, the Science Hill Hilltoppers defended home court with a 60–52 win over the Elizabethton Cyclones. Stephen Hensley led the Hilltoppers with 15 points, while Jabriel Fain and Darian Jackson each added 14 in the balanced scoring effort.

Earlier in the night, the Science Hill Lady Hilltoppers picked up a 73–53 victory over Elizabethton. Science Hill’s Audrey Adams led the floor with 24 points, while Khloe Summers followed closely with 23.

In Afton, the Cherokee Chiefs earned a road win over the Chuckey-Doak Black Knights, pulling away for a 79–53 victory.

Back at home in Jonesborough, the David Crockett Pioneers held off the Morristown West Trojans 58–48. Earlier in the night, the Morristown West’s Lady Trojans defeated the David Crockett Lady Pioneers 61–48 in girls game.

The Hampton Bulldogs delivered one of the night’s most commanding performances, defeating the Happy Valley Warriors 73–27, with four Bulldogs finishing in double figures.

In girls action, the Hampton Lady Bulldogs edged the Happy Valley Lady Warriors 46–43 in a tightly contested matchup.

n Bristol, the Tennessee High Vikings protected home court with a 70–36 win over the West Ridge Wolves. The Lady Vikings also played at home earlier in the night, falling to the wolves 51-47. Teagan Tipton led all scorers with 15 points.
