Roma eyeing Lucumi in case of Ndicka’s exit


Roma could sacrifice Evan Ndicka on the altar of capital gains, given that he arrived in the capital on a free transfer.


The Giallorossi have once again set their sights on Bologna’s Jhon Lucumì.


The Colombian centre-back has already been linked with the Giallorossi, having been on Frederic Massara’s list a year ago.


The 1998-born player finished the season with 43 appearances, scoring one goal and one assist.


After a year, Roma could be back with a strong interest in Lucumì.


As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, the Colombian defender’s future is up in the air, and the Giallorossi are evaluating his profile in the event of Evan Ndicka’s departure.


The 1998-born defender would prefer to remain in Italy, avoiding a move abroad. Lucumì, however, isn’t just being sought by Roma.


Juventus are also strongly pursuing him, as Luciano Spalletti highly values the Colombian defender, who will be a key player during the World Cup. This opportunity could influence the transfer market surrounding the Bologna player.
