Roma contact Renan Lodi’s entourage
Roma, with Frederic Massara at the forefront, continues to work to strengthen Gian Piero Gasperini’s squad.
In addition to the expected offensive changes, the January transfer window could also bring changes on the flanks, where the coach is seeking more reliable alternatives.
On the left flank, Angeliño and Kostas Tsimikas are unreliable.
Gasperini would like to expand his options, and Renan Lodi’s name fits into this context. The Brazilian full-back was released from Al-Hilal in September following the arrival of Theo Hernandez.
According to Fabrizio Romano, there have been contacts between Roma and the agents of the 1998-born player in recent days.
Lodi is seeking a new position, but so far the negotiations have not seen any concrete progress or decisive developments.
Massara, in fact, has limited himself to exploratory inquiries without going beyond an initial evaluation phase.
The possibility of signing Renan Lodi on a free transfer nonetheless makes the deal interesting.
This is an avenue worth monitoring, which could be revived later in the winter transfer window.
