The No. 3 seeded Rockets will enter what could very well be the final game of what has been a remarkable breakout season for the team on Wednesday in Houston, when they face the Warriors while trailing, 3-1, in their first-round series. The Rockets have established themselves as one of the brightest young teams in the league, but through four games, their youth and athleticism has not held up against the experience of the Warriors.

After losing a grinding, 109-106, game to Golden State on Monday, a game in which the Rockets missed 12 free throws and had a chance to win with five seconds to play, coach Ime Udoka said the frustration was palpable in his locker room.

"A little bit upset, of course. Feels like the games we lost that we really hurt ourselves in a lot of ways," Udoka said.

"... It's all the things that add up to it, first half, fouling guys in the bonus and those things, it's hard to out play those mistakes, the amount we're making, let alone the third quarter when we come out undisciplined like that. Guys are down, but they understand that the game we've played well, the one game out of the four, we had a blow-out win and other games it's been a one-possession game a lot of times or we've had a fourth quarter lead and not played well.

"Consistency wins in this series, and we've talked about that from day one and we have to be a lot more consistent across the board. The plan is obviously to go home and get one and come back."

The good news for the Rockets is that, in their efforts to come back to the Bay Area for a potential Game 6, they will have their roster at nearly full tilt.

The Rockets released their final injury report to the NBA heading into Game 5 vs. the Warriors, and the only name on the report is guard Jae'Sean Tate, who is out for the series with an ankle injury. Houston had Jock Landale on the injured list for the first four games, but he is cleared to play.

He was available, too, in Game 4, though Landale did not appear in that game.

Tipoff on Wednesday for Warriors-Rockets is at 7:30 ET.
