Rich Bartel is filling in for Dan Bickley

I'm listening to extra sports 910 Rich Bartel is filling in for Dan Bickley. He's pretty good, definitely better than Bickley. I wonder if there's any chance they make this a permanent thing.

He is surprisingly uninformed about some pretty basic stuff and then he reverses his position when informed.

He's intelligent, but sounds awfully bitter when he discusses the Cards. He has every right to be upset, but I think it clouts his judgement when he mentions his former team.

I think XTRA was aware of this and uses that to its advantage since most Cards fans are irate with the franchise. Adding fuel to the fire only helps ratings.

Yeah it was cool the first time, and they got his full view the first time. But like you say, it looks like they were trying to manifest some more fan reaction. Bartell shmarfell.

I disagree. I'd be bitter too if a coach kept Skelton and Lindley over me.

Two things about the Cardinals QB situation that I find hard to figure out:

How Skelton regressed so badly from 2011.
How Bartel could be so great in pre season and so bad in real games.

He's doing sports radio in Phoenix. He would be blasting the other teams if he was doing radio there.
