Brighton’s dominance in Livingston County girls swimming and diving is reflected in the list of county records I recently put together.
When doing this project, it helped immensely that former Brighton coach Jason Black forwarded me a detailed list of the Bulldogs’ top 10 performances in every event (except relays). Having that strong of a start with times from the area’s premier program made this project possible.
Brighton has the top performances in 11 of the 13 events (counting diving twice). Pinckney’s Alex Miller holds the county record for 11 dives, and Hartland’s Alex Nelson holds the 100-yard backstroke mark.
