Ok, I don't feel like searching old threads right now, so just tell me, when was this your idea? It was dogpoo and Pariah that brought up this idea in Site Suggestions this week. So I'm guessing you probably mentioned it in some ancient thread, we all ignored you , and now you think it was your idea.

BTW, I put people in the order that they posted saying they'd like a week. Except for special requests for weeks.

Rolled and stuffed flank steak and fresh marinara

Salmon baked in puff pastry with a scallop spinach mousse

Boiled new potatoes with a champagne chive butter sauce

Seafood lasagna with white parmesan sauce

Chorizo and beef burger stuffed with habanero jack cheese

Yeah. Y'all didn't know I could throw down like that....

I've got to cook things the kids will eat....and also that can be prepared and cooked pretty quickly. Kids don't have very good patience. If you take forever preparing something....they are apt to burn the kitchen down around you. Or atleast mine are.....better talk to a Psych about this.

OK, I don't want to come off like a cranky, old goat, but, ARE people going to take this Recipe thing seriously??

I haven't been grocery shopping. Heck, I just figured I'd read a sweet recipe in the afternoon, then stop by the Safeway on the way home and pick up the ingredients.

Let's look at my eating habits the last few days.

Thursday--Starved
Friday--ate some potatoes then passed out drunk*
Saturday--wised up, didn't starve, went to Subway*
Sunday--cried, then went to Chinese*
Monday--so hungry for a home cooked meal, help me!!

*would be true if I were in town those days
