The Florida State Seminoles are looking for a quarterback to lead their 2027 recruiting class, and they are going after some of the top arms in the country. One of their newest targets is Jake Nawrot, a four-star prospect from Arlington Heights, Illinois.

FSU quarterbacks coach Austin Tucker extended Nawrot a scholarship offer on Feb. 28, and he is now set to visit Tallahassee. According to Chris Nee of Noles247, he will visit later in March, most likely on the 26th.

His recruitment has taken off this year, with 11 of his 17 scholarships coming since January. Including ones from the Kentucky Wildcats, Washington Huskies, and Iowa Hawkeyes, giving FSU plenty of competition for the 6-foot-4, 190-pounder.

Nawrot is ranked as the No. 40 overall player and No. 2 quarterback in the 247Sports composite. He is also the No. 1 player from Illinois.

He had a breakout junior season at Hersey High School, his first season as a starter. He completed 71.1% of his passes for 3,078 yards, 41 touchdowns, and two interceptions. He also ran for 124 yards and eight touchdowns on 30 carries.
