Real Madrid to open disciplinary proceedings against both Valverde and Tchouameni -sources

Real Madrid have decided to open disciplinary proceedings against both Aurelien Tchouameni and Fede Valverde following Thursday’s confrontation which ended with the Uruguayan midfielder taken to hospital to get some stitches, club sources told Managing Madrid. The club is currently investigating the two incidents and have not decided what the punishment will be, per those same sources.

Real Madrid will almost certainly handle this punishment internally. It remains to be seen whether or not they decide to sell either Tchouameni or Valverde this summer, given that these two incidents could affect the team chemistry going forward.
