When Texas A&M needed someone to step up, graduate forward Rashaun Agee answered the call massively to help snap the four-game losing skid.

As the final minutes of the contest came to a close, the Ole Miss Rebels held a double-digit lead over the Aggies at Reed Arena. Texas A&M struggled with inconsistent shooting and was looking for an answer when the Chicago, Illinois, native led the charge for a magical comeback in Bryan-College Station. Agee's clutch layup gave Texas A&M the lead and the win over the Rebs in a 17-point performance.

His 11th double-double of the season will go down as one of the most integral outings of his graduate campaign, as he helped keep the Aggies in the hunt for a potential postseason birth.

Agee's collegiate career began at New Mexico State, following an impressive senior season at Bogan Technical High in Chicago, where he was named NBC Sports Illinois Player of the Year and USA Today All-USA Illinois Basketball Second Team honors. He spent limited action on the court for the Lobos after being redshirted his freshman season and suffering an injury during his second year, before transferring to Bowling Green, where he earned All-MAC Second Team honors.

Before arriving in College Station this year, Agee spent the 2024-2025 campaign with USC. He led the Trojans in rebounding on eight occasions and in scoring in three games.

The 6-foot-8 forward is having a fantastic final season in Aggieland, averaging 13.8 points and 9.0 rebounds per contest so far this season. With five regular-season games remaining, Texas A&M will need Agee to continue his outstanding production if the program wants to make March Madness. He brings a game-changing presence inside that can't be replicated.

His contributions on the court and leadership in the locker room have made Agge an instant fan favorite. Playing for the Maroon and White just means more for the graduate.

"Play for the name on your chest," Agee said. "Represent each other. Do this for each other."

The Texas A&M brotherhood head coach, Bucky McMillan, and leaders like Agee continue to talk about how a massive contributor to the Aggies exceeding expectations, given they were picked to finish 13th in the SEC during the preseason.
