What a prolific high school baseball season it was in Northern Colorado and the Fort Collins area.
Batters hit the cover off the ball all spring long, leading to some high-scoring games and plenty of pop throughout local lineups.
With so much talent in Fort Collins-area baseball this season, who were the top hitters?
There are any number of ways to measure that, but we kept it old-school with a classic: batting average.
Nine players hit .400 or better during the 2026 season and several more threatened that mark.
