MLB heads into the 16th week of the 2026 season. The 2026 All-Star Game takes place in one week, and the All-Star teams, from each respective league, have been announced. The pool of players was arguably as good as it’s been in a long time. Many deserving players earned nods while certain players were snubbed. Here are the top ten catchers in the league.

The rookie has put together a solid season. He’s put his power on display. There is work to be done in terms of strikeouts, but Baltimore has its catcher for the future.
The Washington catcher is having an underrated season. He’s come up with timely hits and shown the ability to get on base. He has been one of the better, least talked-about players at the catcher position.
The veteran is having a great season in the desert. He has one of the better slugging percentages among MLB catchers. He is headed for a career year.
The rookie has done a great job in his first season. He’s hit for power and established himself as one of the better power-hitting catchers in MLB. His name will be in the race for the AL Rookie of the Year Award.
