Grading a team’s class immediately after the draft can be challenging to do accurately. In fact, it might even be impossible, considering the players haven’t taken a single snap in the NFL.
That doesn’t mean it isn’t a fun and interesting exercise.
Rams Wire handed out grades for each pick in Los Angeles’ 2025 class, ranging from C to A. For a broader picture of how experts feel about the Rams’ haul, Rene Bugner put together a spreadsheet with 24 different evaluations of classes across the NFL.
The Rams didn’t receive a single grade below a C and their best was an A, which was handed out by two different outlets (CBS Sports and Yahoo Sports). Cumulatively, the Rams’ GPA for this year’s class was a 3.05, which was tied for 17th in the NFL – not great, not terrible.
No one knows how the Rams’ class will look 3-4 years from now when players will be nearing the end of their rookie contracts. Terrance Ferguson could be a top-five tight end by then and Chris Paul Jr. might be one of the most exciting linebackers in football by 2028.
Just look at the Rams’ 2023 class, which was one of the best in recent memory. It featured Kobie Turner and Puka Nacua, who each had a strong case to win their respective Rookie of the Year awards. Byron Young and Steve Avila were also in that class, as was punter Ethan Evans. Based on 29 expert grades, it was ranked as the 19th-best class in the NFL immediately after the draft.
In hindsight, it’s probably one of the three best from that year.
Last year, the Rams’ class was ranked ninth based on 20 expert grades, and even that might be too low given the impact of Jared Verse, Braden Fiske, Kamren Kinchens, Jordan Whittington and Beaux Limmer.

2025 NFL Draft Team Grades
I´ve compiled 24 evaluations of the 2025 NFL draft and totaled the team grades.
Sorted by GPA for all 32 teams. I sorted the 24 evaluations by GPA as well. From left (soft) to right (hard graders).
Thanks to all who give out grades every year! pic.twitter.com/HW69yxX702
