The Las Vegas Raiders offense has a favorable matchup against the Tennessee Titans this weekend. The Titans, who are contenders to earn the No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 NFL draft, are struggling to sack the quarterback and contain the run on defense. With that said, we've identified some potential X-factors for the Raiders on offense in a plus Week 6 matchup with the struggling Nashville-based club.
The Titans run defense has allowed multiple runs of 40-plus yards this season. They are not a disciplined defense, and missed tackles have been a massive, recurring issue. Rookie running back Ashton Jeanty should manage to gash the Titans on the ground.
Veteran Stone Forsythe will make his second consecutive start at left tackle in place of the injured Kolton Miller. Luckily for the Raiders, the Titans are one of the worst pass-rushing units in the NFL. Their trio at EDGE of Arden Key, Dre'Mont Jones, and rookie Femi Oladejo have been totally ineffective this season.
The Titans' secondary is also susceptible to allowing the occasional explosive play. Quarterback Geno Smith should exploit opportunities to target Tre Tucker deep down the field. Tucker has averaged around 15.0 yards per catch this year.
