The Las Vegas Raiders and Tennessee Titans have had very different offseasons when it comes to adding wide receiver help.

Both teams entered the offseason with a dire need at the position as they look to surround their young quarterbacks with more help.

But the Raiders have only added Jalen Nailor up until this point and their receivers room remains as shaky as ever when you also include unproven 2025 draft picks Dont'e Thornton and Jack Bech and veteran Tre Tucker.

Meanwhile, the Titans made a big addition with the signing of Wan'Dale Robinson and now have a strong trio with Robinson, Calvin Ridley and Elic Ayomanor. That said, Ridley is coming off an injury-plagued season and Ayomanor is unproven.

In an article naming potential landing spots for the best free agents still available, Pro Football and Sports Network's Alex Kennedy connected the Raiders and Titans to San Francisco 49ers free agent wideout Jauan Jennings, who Kennedy projects for a three-year $18 million deal in free agency.

Jauan Jennings faced less competition for touches in the San Francisco 49ers’ passing attack in 2025, with Brandon Aiyuk out for the whole year and Deebo Samuel being traded to Washington. Despite that, Jennings’ receiving yard total dropped from 975 in 2024 to 643 in 2025.

However, Jennings improved with 9 receiving touchdowns this year, leading the 49ers. He’s a 6’3″, sure-handed receiver who can block. It’s a bit surprising that Jennings is still unsigned, but he can definitely help a WR-needy team. And with Mike Evans and Christian Kirk landing in San Francisco, Jennings will likely get a fresh start on a new team.

Potential Landing Spots: Titans, Raiders

Jennings was one of the better free agent wideouts available this offseason, yet he still hasn't found a new home. That means his market did not shake out the way Jennings expected and he could likely be had for a bargain price at this point.

Jennings posted a career year in 2024 with 975 receiving yards and six touchdowns, but he took a step back in 2025 with 643 yards and nine scores.

Jennings admitted during the season that he was battling a slew of injuries, so that might explain his lackluster production, even with the Niners being short at wide receiver due to injuries.

The Tennessee product isn't going to lead a wide receivers room, but he does offer a strong veteran target for a young quarterback like Tennessee's Cam Ward and Las Vegas' incoming new franchise quarterback, Fernando Mendoza.

We find it hard to believe the Titans will be making any other significant additions at wide receiver, but we can confidently say the Raiders aren't done.

If we had to pick, Jennings landing in Las Vegas is much more likely than him returning to Tennessee, where he played his college ball.
