The Las Vegas Raiders continue to prepare for the 2026 NFL draft. Contrary to popular belief, the Raiders will make many selections after drafting Fernando Mendoza at No. 1 overall. Though that pick is garnering all of the attention, how John Spytek does with the rest of his selections will help determine the direction.
As the Raiders prepare to make those decisions, they're hosting a slew of prospects on pre-draft visits. Another one was discovered on Monday. Missouri defensive tackle Chris McClellan posted on his social media that he was visiting the Raiders.
McClellan was downright dominant at this year's Senior Bowl. He was unblockable during pass-rushing drills. McClellan was also excellent against the run in practice drills, gaining interior pressure and penetration. Dane Brugler ranked him 95th overall on his Top 100.
McClellan ran a 5.05 at the NFL Combine at 313 pounds. The North Tulsa, Oklahoma native possesses a pro-ready NFL frame with 34-inch hands and 11-inch hands. A prospect with raw strength and power, McClellan posted 25 reps on the bench press.
The Raiders have Adam Butler, Thomas Booker IV, Tyree Wilson, and Jonah Laulu on the defensive line. They can improve across the interior. Using a mid-round pick on McClellan would be wise.
