The Denver Broncos were defeated 10-7 by the New England Patriots in Sunday's AFC Championship Game. The Las Vegas Raiders have shown interest in Broncos passing game coordinator and quarterbacks coach Davis Webb. The Raiders consider Webb a candidate for their head coaching vacancy.

With the Broncos officially eliminated from the playoffs, the Raiders are now expected to meet with Webb in person this week, according to Adam Schefter. It would represent a follow-up interview with Webb for the Raiders. The Buffalo Bills are also expected to show interest in him.

The Raiders appear to be focusing on hiring an offensive-minded head coach. That would make sense, given they are projected to select Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 NFL draft. Webb is a rising candidate who appears destined to get a head coaching job as early as this offseason.

The 30-year-old Webb played quarterback at Texas Tech and California. He was drafted in the third round of the 2017 NFL draft by the New York Giants. He bounced around the league before his retirement in early 2023, immediately transitioning into coaching by becoming the Broncos' QB coach.

The Raiders' coaching search is heating up. They'll also meet with former Bills offensive coordinator Joe Brady for a second time this week. Meanwhile, Seahawks OC Klint Kubiak advanced to the Super Bowl and is eligible to interview with the Raiders again this week.
