The Miami Dolphins seem excited to add Quinn Ewers to their quarterback room.

Whether that's the right decision or not remains to be seen, as Ewers has some tools, but perhaps not all to be an NFL quarterback.

Taking him in the seventh round with pick No. 231, it isn't exactly like the Dolphins had to do a ton to grab him. Perhaps one could view it as a smart move if he develops the way that some hope, but either way, they shouldn't expect him to find too much success in the NFL. If he turns into a career serviceable backup, that's all the Dolphins can ask for.

Outside of that, his girlfriend, Madelyn Barnes, posted on Instagram that she was very excited to be part of this journey with her boyfriend, and added a Dolphins message at the end.

"So incredibly proud and overjoyed!! Quinn, you are so deserving of this and a whole lot more! You're the most driven, dedicated, and genuine man both on and off the field. I'm so excited for this journey and to watch you live out your dreams. GO DOLPHINS!! Miami ain't ready," she wrote.

It seems like Ewers and his significant other are excited to head down to South Beach, which nobody should blame them for.

For two young people, living in Miami will certainly be something they're interested in. Whether that's because of life, weather, and more that comes with living in Miami, it seems to be a good fit for the two.

After a 3,472-yard and 31-touchdown season at Texas last year, Ewers has to be hopeful that he'll continue to rise up in the NFL and perhaps get an opportunity to play someday for Miami.
