So here we are, no starting QB on the roster after the inevitable retiring of CP. Where was the contingency plan we had in place for this? What happened to drafting a QB every year like promised? It sure would be a lot easier to sign one of these promising coaching prospects if we had a QB in tow. Now we are sitting here with our pants down after the tide has receded. I hope Keim steps his game up.

Well, in 2013 this team had no QB or HC...things turned out fine then and they will again.

We are in a scary place right now... no QBOTF on the roster, while sitting in a disadvantageous draft position. Oh... and no Head Coach.

What does all that mean? The board being alive in a way it hasn’t been in EONS because there are just MASSIVE decisions to be made that will engender the strongest opinions from every single member of the board.

Should be fun(ny/ish).

What did the Cards do to the football gods to be cursed at qb? Born & raised in Africa so only started following football around 2011 & don't know that much about the Cards back history. Did you guys deny a goat a seat or something like the Cubs? What gives? lol

It's all Phoenix sports except the Mercury, Rattlers, and Diamondbacks. We are worst than Cleveland now that LeBron delivered them a ring.

Hood, just out of curiosity, what made you choose the Cardinals to be a fan of?

Well, there is the Pottsville Curse. Also, I personally realized how cursed we were the year I began liking the team, when our star QB Neil Lomax broke his hip in a career-ending injury.

But, in all seriousness, the chickens are coming home to roost. Keim has steadfastly refused to address the QB position moving forward, and specifically has taken zero steps, zero risks, doing nothing to attempt to attain a QBOF. It is squarely on the team that the team is screwed at the QB position.

Bundle our pick + Patrick Peterson or David Johnson for a top name QB? Someone no one would think is available. Anything is possible.

I'm pretty sure Keim will leverage the farm on a proven QB to save face.

I was big mma fan so started watching 55 cause of his brother after he was drafted. Mostly started following the Pats after that & for someone new to football might as well watch the best. Along the way learned of Larry & Cards defense, so it was a bonus when Jones got traded here.

How do Kirk's numbers the last 3 years stack up to Carson's 3 seasons before coming here?
without even looking I feel safe in saying Cousins has done better the past three years than Palmer did in Oakland...

but that is neither an endorsement for cousins nor an indictment of palmer

Cousins is rumored to cost around 20 million a year.No freaking way Cards should even think about paying that much .Draft a couple of QBs and maybe sign a caretaker veteran .

you mean $30 million? Where are you seeing $20 million. His agent will not take a call if it is less than $27 million per year.

I am sadly excited to see who K9's offseason whipping boy will be this year.

Derek Carr just signed for $26mil per,... Cousins is in his rights to demand similar numbers...perhaps even a touch more since the salary cap increased and he has been more consistent with his production

I’m honestly excited. I checked out on this team when the coaches and front office did the same last offseason.

I had almost zero Cardinals fever this year because we ended up being exactly what I expected... an older, injury prone, special teams disaster and overall mediocre ball of meh.

This offseason HAS to be chock full of big moves. For that alone, I’m excited.

lol... me too...
was just telling my nephew how our off season is going to go now... not for the team, but for the board. all the way down to the frantic raging in late May/early June when we dont sign such and such who is awesome, would help the team, and we have the cap space to sign... "what is that idiot Keim DOING!!!!"

This is going to be a legendary ASFN off season...

even though sadly, I already decided I will give our new coach a chance to prove it on the field before I cuss him so much,..because I already dont really like the choices I am seeing.

this off season will have changes we love, changes we hate, changes nobody saw coming and changes nobody really understands. But come September it will be the Arizona Cardinals taking the field.

For those not will to sign cousins at $27mil a year who are you willing to sign? I do not trust drafting a qb at 15 and I do not want a wasted year. If you give cousins Larry DJ and sign a second WR he will by far have the best team around him in his career.

For those wondering I got $27mil from his market value on spotrac.

It is going to be an interesting off-season. The board should alive all year with all the input.

So many moves to make for the FO to build the team, hopefully in the right direction.

Much to get excited about.
