Algeria head coach Vladimir Petkovic is set to announce in the coming weeks the list of 28 players who will be called up for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON 2025).
Drawn in Group E, the Fennecs will take on Sudan, Burkina Faso, and Equatorial Guinea.
All indications are that the Swiss coach will select the following players:
Goalkeepers: Luca Zidane, Alexis Guendouz, Oussama Benbot.
Defenders: Ramy Bensebaïni, Rayan Aït-Nouri, Samir Chergui, Rafik Belghali, Aïssa Mandi, Jaouen Hadjam, Mehdi Dorval, Elias Benkara, Zinédine Belaïd, Mohamed Amine Tougaï.

Midfielders: Ismaël Bennacer, Yacine Titraoui, Ramiz Zerrouki, Hicham Boudaoui, Adam Zorgane, Ilan Kebbal, Ibrahim Maza, Farés Chaïbi, Houssem Aouar.
Forwards: Mohamed Amine Amoura, Riyad Mahrez, Anis Hadj Moussa, Baghdad Bounedjah, Monsef Bakrar and Mohamed Amine Chiakha.
Algeria is aiming for a third continental crown after having previously won the marquee African competition in 1990 and 2019.
