An offensive tackle that the Wisconsin Badgers have long had their eyes on has officially moved up his commitment date.
Luke Fickell's Badgerscracked the top four for three-star Reed Gerken, a 6-foot-5, 290-pound OT out of Perrysburg, OH.
CBS Sports' Tom Loy revealed Gerken's commitment date is set for Monday, June 8. Not only that, but he'll be announcing his commitment live on YouTube at 5:30 p.m. ET.
Badgers fans can tune in on the CBS Sports college football channel as Gerken decides between Wisconsin, Kentucky, Virginia Tech, and Illinois.
Currently, the Badgers have four incoming offensive recruits in the trenches. Gerken would have a chance to join offensive tackles Cole Reiter and Ethan McIntosh, along with interior offensive linemen Hunter and Reece Mallinger.
For what it's worth, 247Sports' Josh Edwards has logged an expert prediction that Gerken will play college football at Kentucky. In terms of the class of 2027, Edwards is a perfect 11-11 in his predictions.
