I admit I fast-forwarded through more than one of her scenes in BCS

I'm starting to get excited for this show. I've heard from a few people that have seen the first 2 episodes and say it's amazing. It's supposed to be a bit x-file like.

Kojima posted this yesterday. To get extra words from him means he really liked it.

Started off a bit slow but the idea is interesting. It’s going to be tricky though with the premise I would think from a writing perspective with the main plot point. I could be wrong.

I really liked the first 2 episodes, didn't love, but really liked them. I'm intrigued with where it's going and could see growing to love it. Took me a bit to love BCS too. I get the feeling it might have that same trajectory for me.

Still just like. If it wasn’t Gilligan, I wonder if I’d keep watching at this point. But it is, so I will.
I was thinking this a little after E3 but I thought E4 bounced back nicely.

I feel like I'm on a bit of a roller coaster on liking it like I was with the first season of BCS. I was up and down with it too at first. I'm hoping this follows that pattern because I'm intrigued by the concept.

Just a heads up that this week's episode drops tonight due to Thanksgiving.

I guess that I am in the minority on this board because I am really enjoying it.

I'm enjoying the show, just not in love with it yet. It's been a little up and down so far. I thought the same thing of BCS when it came out. S1 had some rough spots but look how that show turned out. I'm trusting Gilligan here.

And I liked this week's episode. I'll save comments for now since a bunch of you might not have seen it yet with the schedule change and later night drop. I'll say though that I hated the way it ended since the next episode isn't for 9 days now. :)

I like the show but it even this early I feel like it has a bunch of water treading going on. How are they going to sustain this show and keep changing it up enough to keep the audience engaged?

I'll be honest, I'm 2 episodes behind (I think--may have lost count). That's usually a death knell for a show for me. Whenever it pops up in my feed, I just don't feel joy at the new episode or a desire to dive in right away. I don't hate the show, but I sure don't love it. It feels like a great concept with great directing and acting, but just kinda "meh" writing. Is there a reason we just sit there staring blankly at something for forever? Or have a 2 minute scene drag for 5 minutes? Did he just not have enough material to stretch to the ordered amount of episodes? I dunno.

That last episode (7), was quite possibly the MOST filler episode I've ever seen. Of any show. Impeccably made and acted considering it was basically two characters each in their own world, but nothing happened at all until the very last shots of the episode.

The last episode was the most Gilligan episode yet. He is all about the journey over the destination and the whole show was each of their journeys. One emotional and one physical. With each vastly different journey ending metaphorically in the same place… reliance.

Oof, this is not inspiring me to continue.

I liked the last episode. It was deliberate, not slow. ;) This breakdown is along the lines of my take on it.
