Please Explain This To Me...

How can the Lions turn it around in one offseason. I mean sure they got Mooch and that helped sign some FAs. But wow they had an awsome draft.

Why can't we have a good draft. Every year we pick high. Every year our picks dont do much. Or atleast most of them dont do much.

I need to be inspired for this season. Otherwise ill be waiting till the draft next year in hopes of something good.

Sorry but even with Mooch it would not surprise me one bit if we are better then Detroit this year yet again!

Look at there roster top to bottom and sorry I just dont see a team that has TURNED THE CORNER?

1. They got Mooch to be the coach

2. They added Earl Holmes and Boss Bailey

3. Harrington to Rogers will be a good combo

4. Got a steal in the 3rd round with Redding

5. Terrance Holt and Dre Bly will really help out the secondary


Thats a pretty damn good start to turning the team around..

Mooch is a decent coach but still really hasent proven squat. He has shown to be a playoff choker and had the luxury of having a guy like Walsh above him to help with personnel decisions IMO!

Dre Bly??? Tell me you are kidding???

The rookies may contibute but they will not be the one year turnaround savior you are making them out to be!

I guess if you like Dre Bly and Bailey, then you think they "turned the corner". Personally, I think Bly is average and they'll regret the contract they gave him. And I think Bailey flat out blows. He'll be out of the league in three years.

They'll be better if Harrington improves a lot. If he continues to struggle, they'll still suck.

Mooch can attact interest to the Lions atleast.. Unlike....

there is a reason they PLAY the games... this isnt football played on paper.

Just because the redskins signed Bruce Smith and Dion Sanders doesnt win them the superbowl...
