Pisa finalising a move for Samuel Iling-Junior on loan from Aston Villa
As per Gianluca Di Marzio, Pisa are preparing a loan for Aston Villa’s Samuel Iling-Junior. The winger’s move will last until June.
The 22-year-old Iling-Junior already boasts prior Serie A experience, with first-team graduation following his development in the Juventus Next Gen academy. Later, when he moved to Aston Villa in the summer of 2024, he moved back to Italy on loan with Bologna.
In the first part of this season, Iling-Junior played for West Bromwich Albion on another loan from Villa. The England youth international made 24 appearances and scored one goal in the Championship for the struggling Baggies.
Iling-Junior has always been a high-potential player. Back in the Autumn of 2020, he was included in The Guardian’s list of the 60 best young talents in the world born in 2003.
Sitting second-bottom in the league and four points from safety, Pisa will be hoping that he realises some of this talent in order to help their bid for survival.
