The Canton girls and Massena boys protected their NAC lacrosse leads with victories Friday night.

Canton (12-0) downed Plattsburgh High 15-1 one night after defeating Saranac Lake - Lake Placid 14-1 in a match of unbeatens. SL-LP rebounded with a 12-2 win over OFA. In boys lacrosse, Massena (11-1) defeated St. Lawrence Central 15-3 to maintain its lead over 9-2 Potsdam and 9-3 OFA.

In other boys games, Plattsburgh High outscored Malone 20-11.

Massena 15 - SLC 3: Trey Smutz delivered three goals and five assists and Drystal Cole scored three goals with an assist to lead Massena’s high-scoring outing. Karenhisen Johnson, Cam Ruslaw, Jack Tyo, Kole Topa, Jack McCabe and Joey Smutz all scored singled goals. Levi Clookey scored two goals and Dylan Clookey netted a single goal.

Michael Hendricks made nine saves for Massena and Michael Moore made 10 saves for SLC.

PHS 20 - Malone 11: Will Boire scored three goals with one assist and Killian Baker scored two goals with four assists to lead the Hornets past the Huskies. Kai Massaro and Blake Holthaus scored three and four goals to spark Malone.Jake Reynolds netted two goals and Ethan Vincent and Denall Boyea-Woodard each added single goals.

Canton 15 - PHS 1: Saige Blevins scored five goals with one assist and Olivia Francey and Deli Gaurin netted three goals with one assist to lead the Golden Bears. Other scoring came from Maddie Aryassian (2-1), Nina Lesperance (1-0), and Brynn Eggleston (1-0).
