The Phoenix Suns continued their four-game homestand with a 120-111 win over the Dallas Mavericks before a sellout crowd of 17,071 on Feb. 10 at Mortgage Matchup Center.
The Suns (32-22) snapped a two-game skid while the Mavs (19-34) have lost their last eight games.
Phoenix led by as many as 31 points, 61-30, in the first half as Dillon Brooks scored a team-high 23 points on 26 shot attempts (1-of-10 from 3) with 15 coming in the first quarter on 7-of-9 shooting.
The Mavericks pulled within 14 points in the first half before Royce O'Neale hit a late 3 to give Phoenix a 65-48 halftime lead. The Suns pushed their advantage to 24 points, but the Mavs once again battled back to cut the lead to single digits, 112-104, with under five minutes left.
The Suns went back up double figures, 115-104, but the Mavs got within six before Devin Booker hit a jumper to give Phoenix a 117-109 lead with 1:50 remaining.
Then Brooks nailed a baseline jumper to extend Phoenix's lead to nine with 50.6 second left to end the game's scoring.
Booker scored 19 points as seven Suns reached double figures.
Jalen Green chipped in 12 off the bench in his second game back after missing three games with a left hip contusion as he was also listed out at the time under right hamstring injury management.
Mavs forward Naji Marshall scored a game-high 31 points off the bench while rookie Cooper Flagg delivered 27.
Phoenix was down Grayson Allen (right knee sprain), Isaiah Livers (left shoulder sprain) and Cole Anthony (not with team). The Suns acquired Anthony in a three-team deal before the Feb. 5 trade deadline.
Amir Coffey made his Suns debut after he also was part of the three-team trade. The Bucks dealt Anthony and Coffey to the Suns.
Coffey scored six points off the bench. Anthony has yet to join the team.
Klay Thompson (rest) was been downgraded from questionable to out.
The Suns are 2-0 against the Mavs this season, winning the first matchup, 123-114, on Nov. 12 in Dallas.
The Suns play the second of a home back-to-back on Wednesday, Jan. 11, against Oklahoma City.

Cooper Flagg has a team-high 15 points for the Mavericks.
The Suns are starting Collin Gillespie, Devin Booker, Dillon Brooks, Royce O'Neale and Mark Williams as Jalen Green continues to come off the bench.
The Mavs are starting Tyus Jones, Max Christie, rookie Cooper Flagg, P.J. Washington Jr. and Daniel Gafford.
Jones played one season for the Suns in 2024-25.
Suns coach Jordan Ott talked pregame about seeing how Booker and Green feel after Tuesday's game in deciding whether they play in the second of a back-to-back Feb. 11 against defending NBA champion Oklahoma City Thunder, as they take into account returning from injuries.
"When you've been out that long, it's something we're super mindful of," Ott said about Green when asked about the right hamstring injury that has mostly limited him to six games this season.
"It's why we'll stick to the target range of competitive minutes," Ott continued. "Try to put him in a good place, but we're super mindful of how he is feeling, how he is moving and as far as (Wednesday), we will have to wait, specifically with him, but the same with Mark (Williams). We're going to do the same with Book. He's coming off a major ankle injury and he sped up his recovery to come out and play. Now that thing is hard on back-to-back nights. Check in with all of our games. Back-to-backs are hard around the league. We do know we have week off in between for the next game, but we'll check in with all of those guys."
Phoenix's first game after the All-Star break is Feb. 19 at San Antonio.
