The Florida Swing will be revamped for the 2027 season.
The PGA Tour announced a number of scheduling changes on Tuesday, most notably moving the Cadillac Championship from May this year back to its former home in March, and the Valspar Championship will shift to May.
The Cognizant Classic will bat leadoff on the Florida Swing, followed by the Cadillac Championship. That’s the former date of the Arnold Palmer Invitational. The Tour flipped the longtime Orlando stop two weeks later in the calendar to March 15-21 – after the Players – which puts it up against college basketball’s March Madness.

May will look different, too. The CJ Cup Byron Nelson in Dallas will move up a week and follow the Zurich Classic of New Orleans. The Valspar takes over in the first week in May (May 3-9) as the final regular event ahead of the PGA Championship.
The Tour also shared some details in January. It was finally confirmed that there will be a tournament in San Diego, the week after the season kickoff in Palm Desert, Calif., at The American Express, which had previously been confirmed. For now, it is simply on the schedule as the Torrey Pines event. Longtime sponsor Farmers Insurance didn’t renew its contract as the title sponsor and a replacement hasn't been announced yet.
