The most recent major champion is joining the list of golfers headed to Dublin, Ohio for the 2026 Memorial Tournament.

Fresh off winning the 2026 PGA Championship, British golfer Aaron Rai will be part of the field at Muirfield Village Golf Club, according to a May 20 press release. Entering the fourth day of the major two strokes behind the leader, Rai shot a five-under 65 to win at Aronimink Golf Club. Rai drilled a 68-foot putt on the 17th hole to take a commanding three-shot lead he never lost.

Rai will join other major winners, including reigning back-to-back Masters champion Rory McIlroy. McIlroy told CBS Sports after his final round at the PGA Championship that he planned to play in the Memorial.

Scottie Scheffler, the reigning back-to-back Memorial champion and the No. 1 golfer in the world, committed to the tournament on April 30.
