To the victor goes the spoils. Aaron Rai’s career-changing triumph at the PGA Championship, fueled by a superlative Sunday 65 that separated him from the field to win by three strokes, earned the Englishman a tidy $3.69 million, possession of the Wanamaker Trophy and the lifetime title of “major champion.”

Our Luke Kerr-Dineen broke down some of the quirky traits on the golf course that make Rai an impressively singular tour pro—and continue to help improve his game. But apparently Rai has a quirky trait or two off the course as well.

Asked at his post-victory press conference on Sunday how he intended to celebrate his victory, Rai responded: “I’m not sure. I haven’t thought that far ahead just yet.”

Enter Rai’s wife, Gaurika Bishnoi. She’s a golfer, too, having competed on the Ladies European Tour for a time. She even showed off her own impressive swing a year ago while hitting a shot in the Masters Par-3 contest. At any rate, she was in attendance at the presser and revealed one of her hubby’s guilty pleasures.

“He’ll probably have Chipotle.”

A wry smile came upon Rai’s face upon hearing her response.

“I do love Chipotle on the road,” he said. “So we’ll probably got to Chipotle.”

Suffice it to say, $3.69 million will buy you a lot of burritos. Meanwhile, I wonder how much guac would fit in the Wanamaker?!?
