The Cards hired Denny Green on January 8th CKW on the 14th.

2003 season last game was Dec 28th

2006 season last game was Dec 31st

Bidwill said. (after announcing that Green was fired) "We've got a lot of young players that are under contract for a long, long time. I think that's part of what makes the Cardinals very attractive to many of the coaches we've talked to."

He (Green) made several moves that seemed to backfire, beginning with the abrupt release of offensive lineman Pete Kendall on the eve of his first training camp. In his first season, Green benched quarterback Josh McCown for Shaun King even though the team had won three of its last four. By the time McCown got the job back, the Cardinals had lost three straight.

You gotta love Cardinal football.

UPDATE 12:15 a.m. ET: It appears that the Cardinals are leaking that the interview will occur on Thursday to employees of NFL Network, and that LaMonte is leaking Wednesday to other reporters.
