To bad Carolins doesnt blitz that much. They primaraly just rush their front 4 and let their back 7 sit in coverage. That along with being 3 deep at CB is why they may not have a lot of sacks yet they are still a top pass defense.

Hmmm so they are going to do what the Jets did. Hopefully Kurt, Whiz and Haley learned their lessons from that game.

Carolina will want to test the Arizona secondary deep (KEY #3). The Cardinals defense is allowing opposing QB’s to throw at a rate of 118.8 on passes of 21+ yards. The Panthers have created 21 passes over 20+ yards and rank 6th in the NFL in creating such “big plays”.

The key to the game right there. We all know the Cards #1 defensive weakness is still the same as it was last year, letting WRs get wide open on deep routes.

Or, to put a finer point on it, playing great pass defense for 22 out of 24 plays, and on those other two they give away the game.

Let's hope that's something that's being recognized and addressed.
