If released should the Cardinals go after him. I say yes if kolb doesn't finish this season strong.
I read yesterday a quote from his dad Archie that he did not think both Luck and Peyton would make a good fit on the same team. It is still not known if Peyton will ever play football again. As I have had a fusion in my neck at the C4-C5 and C3-C4 levels I personally would never play football again. At these level you could end up with paralysis if the fused vertebrae are injured on a big hit or not even a big hit but just one in the right place. After a few years the fusion in my neck has grown into a solid block of bone. Any fusion in this area will cause some loss of ability to look up. I do not notice it but then I am not an NFL player who needs all the mobility he can get. I just cannot imagine Peyton taking such a risk especially at the QB position where you often can get blindsided. He is already a legend and has enough money to live 5 lives. He is sure fire Hall of Farmer and would do well in the broadcast booth just to give him something to do. To me this is a no brainer. Peyton should immediately announce his retirement. He is due $27 million dollars next season but I suspect he should have 10 times that in his investment portfolio. He could help with Luck on the sideline but certainly should not be playing ball. The Colts should not pass on Luck and Daddy Manning should stay out of this and let Peyton do what he wants to do. Manning and the owner of the Colts are very good friends.
