Penfield Flag Football’s Sophia Puccia led the Patriots to the program’s fourth straight Class A sectional championship in a 46-0 win over Hilton.
The senior quarterback contributed to six of the team’s seven touchdowns, scoring three on the ground and three through the air.
Puccia finished the game 14 of 19 passing for 80 yards, adding 93 rushing yards on 13 carries.
Penfield will next play Kenmore of Section Six in the first round of the state tournament on Wednesday, May 27th, and our Player of the Week will be leading the charge.
