The Player of the Week for March 16th is Lyons Senior Jamire Johnson after a 46 point, 22 rebound week in the state tournament.
The 6-foot-6 center opened the week with 29 points and 15 rebounds in the state qualifier against Honeoye, leading Lyons to a 70-56 win.
In the state quarterfinals, Johnson followed up with 17 points and seven boards as the Lions cruised into the state final four.
Next up for Lyons is a Class C state semifinal matchup against Cooperstown and leading them will our Player of the Week.
