Progressive Conservative candidate Marco MacLeod is expected to win the byelection in Pictou West, according to projections from the CBC Decision Desk.Early polls showed MacLeod had a significant lead ahead of his opponents, with the NDP candidate in second place, the Liberals in third and the Greens last.The byelection was held to fill the seat held by the PC's Karla MacFarlane.
