The New England Patriots will have linebacker Robert Spillane on the field when they host the Los Angeles Chargers in Sunday night's wild-card playoff game.

This will be the first time that the Patriots have had Spillane, Milton Williams and Harold Landry III on the field together since the team's Week 11 game against the New York Jets. They are hopeful that the defensive trio can boost the run defense and elevate the team's pass rush.

It will be an uphill battle when facing a talented Chargers team with Justin Herbert under center at quarterback. Even with all of the Chargers' injuries, they have still shown the ability to move the ball down the field effectively. They also have one of the league's best defenses to help keep them in games.

Along with Spillane and Landry returning, the Patriots will also have wide receiver Kayshon Boutte active for the game. So quarterback Drake Maye will have nearly all of his weapons available to him in his postseason debut.
