The New England Patriots' improbable run comes down to Sunday's AFC Championship Game against the Denver Broncos with a trip to Super Bowl LX hanging in the balance.

There will be no Bo Nix for the Broncos, but they do have a legitimate gunslinger as their backup quarterback in Jarrett Stidham. Granted, he has never started in a playoff game, and he hasn't thrown a pass in an NFL game since 2023.

It's a huge advantage for the Patriots if they can avoid the same pitfalls that nearly cost them in last week's 28-16 win over the Houston Texans. Patriots quarterback Drake Maye had four fumbles, with two being lost on the ground, along with being sacked five times.

Meanwhile, the defense forced five turnovers against the Texans' offense, including four interceptions on quarterback C.J. Stroud and a forced fumble on running back Woody Marks. Will they be able to make life miserable for a third straight week after mauling Justin Herbert and Stroud?

They might need another big game to match what Denver's top-ranked defense does on the other end. Stay tuned to this page on Patriots Wire for score updates and highlights from the game.
