The New England Patriots are back in AFC Championship Game and get set to take on the Denver Broncos.
After back-to-back playoff wins at home, the Patriots look to keep their undefeated road record alive in a place they have historically struggled. In order to do so and punch their ticket to the Super Bowl, New England’s defense will look to stay hot against backup quarterback Jarrett Stidham while Drake Maye will take on another challenging defense.

First Quarter
The Patriots won the coin toss and deferred putting Jarrett Stidham and the Broncos offense on the field first. Back-to-back run stuffs by New England’s defense to start the game set up a 3rd-and-9, where pressure by Milton Williams and Elijah Ponder got to the quarterback forcing an incompletion and punt.
New England’s first offensive possession started backed up inside their own 10-yard line. Two straight runs to Rhamondre Stevenson set up a 3rd-and-4 of their own, where Drake Maye’s first attempt of the day to Stefon Diggs fell incomplete.
Stidham faced a 3rd-and-10 to start the next drive, and the QB found a big play downfield hitting Marvin Mims one-on-one on the outside against Christian Gonzalez for 52 yards. Suddenly inside the 10-yard line, a play-action bootleg resulted in Stidham finding Courtland Sutton for a touchdown. [Patriots 0 : 7 Broncos]
